Senior Accountant to Join Our Growing Finance Team (Sharjah, UAE)

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for accuracy and a strategic mindset? We're seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to play a key role in our dynamic finance team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:
Providing financial leadership and guidance to management on accounting principles and financial requirements.
Setting up and managing a new accounting infrastructure, including financial controls and policies.
Preparing accurate and timely financial statements (monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
Overseeing the Payroll/WPS system and ensuring accurate payments.
Implementing cost accounting practices and advising management on cost-efficiency strategies.
Conducting thorough financial reconciliations and establishing strong internal controls.
Creating insightful financial reports with variance analyses, forecasts (revenue, expense, cash flow), and risk assessments.
Developing and monitoring sales/commission structures.
Monitoring key financial performance indicators (KPIs) against budgets.
Managing accounts receivable collections and debtor management.
Overseeing banking relationships, financial institutions, and online payment gateways.

Leading the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department.
Building strong working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across the business.
To be successful, you'll ideally have:
A bachelor's degree in commerce or finance (MBA in Finance preferred).
A minimum of 5 years of UAE experience in accounting standards and VAT (manufacturing experience a plus).
In-depth knowledge and experience with international accounting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
