Role Overview:

The Audit and Controls Head manages the Internal Audit function, ensuring an independent
assessment of internal controls, risk evaluation, and compliance with group policy and procedures.

This role also contributes to governance projects and provides management with advice and consultations.

Principal Accountabilities

• Audit Planning and Implementation: Develop and execute an annual audit plan in coordination with corporate management for the entire organisation, ensuring it addresses the adequacy of internal controls and compliance with group policies.

• Audit Review and Reporting: Conduct internal audits and control reviews, discussing findings with a?liate management to develop corrective actions. Report results and action plans to a?liates and corporate management, ensuring follow-up on agreed actions and performing ad hoc investigations as requested.

• Risk Management: Provide objective assurance on the management of major business risks and the e?ectiveness of the risk management and internal control framework. Act as a central point for monitoring and reporting on risks, driving a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk identification.

• Development and Training: Develop the corporate audit teams and a?liate internal controllers, issuing functional guidance. Provide on-the-field training by rotating auditors to cover di?erent business segments and include a?liates' internal controllers as guest auditors for practical exposure.

• Financial and People Management: Manage the budget allocation across the department, ensuring adherence and addressing deviations. Mentor, guide, and provide necessary training to sta?, ensuring e?ective performance management and talent development for business continuity.

Salary: 55000 - 70000 AED
