Senior Finance Accountant

Duties & Responsibilities:
Bin Murshed Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Accountant with a proven track record in the UAE to join one of the leading companies in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience working with Big 4 Auditing firms and demonstrate expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
This role requires a candidate with a background in managing financial operations for a diverse group of companies, specifically in service sectors such as delivery services, financial investment, and business setup.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain budgeting and forecasting processes.
Manage financial operations for a diverse group of companies within the service sector.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis for senior management.
Coordinate with external auditors, particularly Big 4 Auditing firms, to ensure thorough and accurate audits.
Monitor and manage cash flow, financial planning, and risk management.
Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure integrity and transparency in financial reporting.
Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and support decision-making processes.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards.
Manage a team of accountants, providing leadership, guidance, and support.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
7-10 years of experience in accounting and finance, with significant experience in the UAE.
Proven experience working with Big 4 Auditing firms.
Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Experience managing financial operations for diverse companies in service sectors.
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and standards.
Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
