Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated IT professional to join our team as an IT Support Engineer – Security Solutions & AMC Management. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the security of our clients’ IT infrastructure by leveraging your knowledge of industry-leading security products and solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing our Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) with clients, ensuring they receive the proactive support they need.
Responsibilities:
* Security Expertise:
* Possess a strong understanding of IT best practices and principles.
* Stay up-to-date on the latest IT threats and vulnerabilities.
* Experience with a variety of security solutions, including:
* Endpoint Security (TrendMicro, Crowd strike, ESET, Kaspersky)
* Email Security (Barracuda, Avanan, Mimecast)
* Network Security (FortiGate, SonicWALL, Watchguard)
* Backup Solutions (Veeam, Acronis)
* Storage Solutions (QNAP, Synology, Infor trend, Seagate, Unitrends)
Technical Skills:
* Experience with Windows Server deployment and management, including Active Directory, File Servers, and Print Servers.
* Proficient in virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V.
* Familiarity with HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure) solutions from vendors like Nutanix, HP, Dell, Lenovo, and Sangfor.
* Working knowledge of storage solutions from QNAP, Synology, Seagate, Stonefly, and Infortranz.
* Understanding of Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and Azure cloud services.
AMC Management:
* Manage and oversee client AMCs, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon service levels.
* Proactively identify and address potential IT issues before they become major problems.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks as outlined in the AMC.
* Communicate effectively with clients regarding AMC services and updates.
* Problem-Solving and Analysis:
* Proactively identify and address potential IT security risks.
* Analyze security incidents and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
* Troubleshoot security-related issues and ensure efficient resolution.
* Communication and Collaboration:
* Effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients to ensure successful implementation of security solutions and AMC services.
* Document IT security procedures and best practices.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support or a related field, with a focus on security solutions.
* Experience managing IT service contracts (AMCs) a plus.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Passion for IT security and a commitment to staying current with the latest threats and solutions.

Resume Keyword Practices to Avoid
We’ve established that using resume keywords throughout your application boosts your chances of a human hiring manager seeing it.
However, be careful not to overdo it.
Packing your resume full of keywords is almost as bad as not including any at all.
Don’t forget that a real person will (hopefully) see your resume at some point. So use natural language that engages that person.
Tip
Make sure you balance hard skills vs soft skills on your resume to show you’re a rounded candidate.
Otherwise, they’ll think you’re either a bad writer — which indicates your communication skills aren’t good — or assume you’re trying to beat the ATS, making you seem dishonest.
Dishonest Keywords
It’s tempting to simply include all of the keywords you see in a job posting on your resume to maximize your chances of getting past the ATS.
But hiring managers are going to be suspicious if they see a resume that’s too perfect.
And even if you make it through to the interview, expect to be pressed with some tough questions about your skills.
Stick to the abilities and qualifications you actually have. Adding skills you lack will waste everyone’s time.
