Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our accounting team with day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting and contribute to the smooth functioning of our finance department.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•        Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.
•        Assist in end-of-month closure procedures.
•        Support other accounting projects as required.
•        Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports.
•        Ensure adherence to financial policies and regulations.
•        Collaborate closely with senior accountants and the finance team to maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
•        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (B.Com).
•        1–2 years of accounting work experience in the UAE.
•        Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
•        Analytical mindset with strong conceptual and problem-solving abilities.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Critical thinking skills with high proficiency in mathematics.
•        Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and accounting software packages.
