Synopsis

Fabricates and assembles structural metal products such as framework or shells for machinery and metal parts for buildings and ground equipment.  
Accountabilities

    Develops layout and plans sequence of operations.
    Locates and marks bending and cutting lines onto work piece.
    Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, and drill presses.
    Hammers, chips, and grinds work piece to cut, bend, and straighten metal.
    Preheats work pieces. Positions, aligns, fits, and welds together parts.
    Designs and constructs templates and fixtures.
    Verifies conformance of work piece to specifications.
    Fabricates or assigns fabrication to Denter-B and assembles sheet metal products.
    Sets up and operates machine tools associated with fabricating shops such as radial drill press, end mill, and edge planer.
    Responsible to comply with the applicable laws, regulations and procedures, exercising due diligence towards Health & Safety of self & others in the organization as well as environmental protection issues.
    Responsible for Safety & Quality of the function/ Task performed
    Responsible for reporting to his superiors' occurrences, events, violations and acts that may affect safety, security and company reputation.

 
Education & Experience

    Higher Secondary
    5 years’ experience in related field
