As a Hostess at IKKA Restaurant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You will be responsible for greeting guests with warmth and professionalism, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of guests in the restaurant. Your role is key in creating a welcoming, friendly, and efficient environment that aligns with IKKA's commitment to excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Guest Greeting: Welcome guests with a friendly smile, ensuring a warm and positive first impression.

·         Seating & Reservations: Manage the seating chart, escort guests to their tables, and ensure that reservations are handled efficiently and accurately.

·         Customer Service: Provide guests with information about the menu, daily specials, and the restaurant concept. Assist with special requests and ensure a seamless guest experience.

·         Communication: Coordinate with the restaurant management and service team to ensure guest needs are met promptly and effectively.

·         Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the entrance and dining area are clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.

·         Problem-Solving: Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.

·         Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations during peak times and maintain high levels of service quality.

Qualifications
Qualifications:

·         Previous experience as a Hostess or in a customer-facing role in the hospitality industry is preferred.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·         A friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.

·         Ability to remain calm and composed during busy or high-pressure situations.

·         Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).

·         Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
