Main Accountabilities:
Maintain flowers, bushes, trees, and shrubs in a professional way.
Should have a clear understanding of the seasonal plants, fertilizers, irrigation system, prunes and weeds for schools, nurseries, and villas.
Should have a about average knowledge on greenhouse operations and hydroponic system to maintain in schools.
Should be responsible for performing ongoing landscaping tasks, as well as routine maintenance of all landscaping equipment.
Should make a proper plan for mow the lawns, prune the bushes and trees, edge the walkways, and give the ground a manicured look for the directors’ villa.
Collaborate with maintenance team to make sure the landscape grounds and the soils are taken care in schools and nurseries.
Maintain and grow vegetables in the school and director’s villa as per the season.
Provide guidance to management on matters related to the garden improvement.
Advise the FM and school operations on the costs of plants and garden necessities.
Maintain a clean garden by clearing rubbish and litter from the garden and grounds.
Ensure a safe environment for staffs, kids by adhering to safety and health regulations.
Job specification:
At least 2 years’ UAE experience with high school educational background in horticulture ( preferred)
Knowledge of plants and gardening techniques
Solid understanding of health and safety rules
Experience in maintaining greenhouses and hydroponics.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people and public.
Ability to deal with employees from multi-cultural backgrounds
Ability to work independently.
Above average communications in English, Hindi
UAE Driving License is required
