Site Architect - Construction

We are currently supporting a leading Engineering and Construction company in the UAE in their search for a Site Architect to join their growing team to be based in Dubai.

This role is responsible for ensuring that architectural designs are accurately implemented on-site during construction. The Site Architect will act as a key liaison between the design team, consultants, and construction teams to ensure smooth coordination and high-quality project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Review and implement architectural drawings and specifications on site
• Supervise architectural works to ensure quality and compliance with design intent
• Coordinate with MEP, structural teams, and subcontractors to resolve site issues
• Prepare and review shop drawings and material submittals
• Conduct site inspections, snagging, and ensure timely rectification
• Monitor progress and report on architectural activities
• Ensure compliance with project standards, authorities, and HSE requirements
• Maintain as-built drawings and support project handover

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field
• Proven experience as a Site Architect within a contracting company (strong contracting experience is essential)
• Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site execution
• Experience in reviewing shop drawings and material submittals
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage
