We’re hiring an experienced Accountant / Finance Manager with a strong events background to lead day-to-day finance and commercial reporting across live events and project delivery. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands event P&Ls, supplier-heavy cost lines, tight timelines, and fast-paced operations.

Job description
Own monthly reporting: management accounts, P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and clear variance commentary
Build and manage event/project P&Ls: budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, margin analysis, post-event reconciliations
Manage AP/AR end-to-end: supplier payments, client invoicing, credit control, and reconciliations
Implement strong cost control across events: PO discipline, approvals, accruals, and correct cost allocation by project
Deliver weekly cashflow forecasts aligned to event schedules, deposits, and supplier payment terms
Support commercial decisions: pricing support, scenario modelling, profitability analysis per event/client
Ensure UAE VAT compliance: filings, documentation, and audit-ready records
Liaise with auditors, banks, and external accountants as required
Improve finance processes, templates, and reporting to reduce leakage and increase visibility
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Accountant / Finance Manager (or similar) within events, exhibitions, experiential, production, or a project-based services business
Strong hands-on experience owning event/project budgets and reconciliations (not only general ledger work)
Solid working knowledge of UAE VAT and compliance
Advanced Excel skills (pivots, lookups, modelling, building templates)
Strong stakeholder management with operations/project teams; confident enforcing controls and deadlines
High attention to detail, commercially minded, and comfortable working at pace
Experience with accounting/ERP systems (any major platform is fine)
Salary:
AED 25,000 to 30,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
