Head of Contract Logistics (Dubai)

A global logistics player is hiring a Head of Contract Logistics to lead multi-site operations in Dubai. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with full accountability for service, cost, people, and growth across key customer contracts.

What you’ll be responsible for
- Own end-to-end Contract Logistics performance: service, cost, quality, HSE, and productivity
- Lead site leaders/operations managers and build a high-accountability culture (daily/weekly cadence, KPI discipline)
- Drive continuous improvement: Lean projects, labour planning, slotting, process redesign, automation readiness
- Manage customer relationships at senior level: QBRs, escalations, change requests, and commercial discussions
- Deliver P&L outcomes: budget control, forecasting, margin protection, and cost-to-serve optimisation
- Scale operations: new contract implementations, ramp-ups, peak planning, and SOP standardisation
- Ensure compliance across HSE, security, ISO/quality standards, and governance

What we’re looking for
- Proven leadership in Contract Logistics / 3PL / warehousing at a senior level (multi-site or large-scale single site)
- Strong operational rhythm: KPIs, labour models, productivity, inventory accuracy, OTIF, and cost control
- Customer-facing credibility (able to manage demanding enterprise accounts)
- Track record delivering CI/Lean improvements with measurable results
- Comfortable in high-volume, fast-moving environments (retail, FMCG, e-commerce, automotive, industrial, etc.)
- Strong people leader: develops managers, sets standards, drives performance

Role details
- Location: Dubai
- Employer: Global logistics player
- Package: AED 55,000–60,000 per month
- Start: ASAP (notice periods considered)

To apply
Send your CV plus a short note covering:
1) Size/scale you’ve led (sites, headcount, sqm, throughput)
2) Contract types/industries (e-com, retail, FMCG, automotive, etc.)
3) Key KPIs/results delivered (productivity, OTIF, inventory accuracy, cost savings)
4) Current location + notice period

Requirements:
You’re a senior Contract Logistics operator who can run big, complex warehousing operations with real accountability — service, cost, people, and customer satisfaction. You’ve led either multi-site networks or a flagship high-volume DC, and you’re comfortable owning performance end-to-end: labour planning, productivity, inventory accuracy, HSE, quality, and continuous improvement.

You’re not just “ops strong” — you’re customer-credible. You can sit with demanding enterprise clients, run QBRs, handle escalations calmly, and translate operational reality into clear actions, timelines, and measurable outcomes. You understand cost-to-serve, margin protection, and what it takes to deliver OTIF without burning the operation (or the team) out.

You bring structure and rhythm: daily management, visual KPIs, disciplined problem-solving, and leaders who know exactly what “good” looks like on every shift. You’ve delivered tangible improvements — throughput gains, labour efficiency, reduced claims, improved inventory integrity, safer operations — and you can evidence it.

Most importantly, you’re a builder. You can stabilise underperforming contracts, scale operations through peak, and lead implementations or transitions without drama — leaving behind standardised processes, strong managers, and a performance culture that sticks.

Salary:
AED 55,000 to 60,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
