Bridge Inspector (Maintenance of Bridges and Structures)

We are seeking qualified Bridge Inspectors to support AACM (Annual Asset Condition Maintenance) and maintenance of bridges and structures projects. The role involves site inspection, quality monitoring, and compliance verification for works of similar nature and magnitude. Two inspectors are required: one for Road Works and one for Landscaping/Irrigation Works, both supporting bridge and structural maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out regular inspections of bridge, structural, road, and associated landscaping/irrigation works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and authority standards.
• Monitor construction and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and approved methodologies.
• Inspect repair, rehabilitation, and maintenance works related to bridges and structures under AACM contracts.
• Verify materials, workmanship, and site practices against approved submittals.
• Record site observations, non-conformances, and corrective actions, and follow up on closure.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and supervision teams to resolve site issues.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, daily logs, and photographic documentation.
• Support measurements, progress verification, and interim payment certification activities.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) requirements.
• Liaise with municipal representatives and consultants during inspections and audits.

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university (mandatory).
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in construction and maintenance works of similar nature and magnitude.
• Proven experience in AACM projects and maintenance of bridges and structures is required.
• For Road Inspector: experience in roadworks, pavements, drainage, and associated civil works.
• For Landscaping/Irrigation Inspector: experience in landscaping, irrigation networks, utilities coordination, and associated civil works within infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with UAE municipal standards and infrastructure specifications is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 12,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
